Abstract submission
Abstract submission is available from May 1st, 2023
All participants are kindly requested to submit their abstract by July 15, 2023
By July 31, 2023 participants will be informed about the acceptance of their contributions.
Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline could not be considered due to the time limits for abstract volume publication.
Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
You will receive confirmation that your abstract has been received, indicating the abstract number which it has been allocated. Please refer to this abstract number in all correspondence regarding the abstract.
The Committee will endeavour to schedule abstracts according to authors’ preferences but reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation.
The presenting author is expected to attend the Conference and present their abstract. Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered participants.
The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission to the Secretariat.

Abstracts submitted for the International Conference on Gas Geochemistry 2023 (ICGG 16) have to be prepared as the Word files, using the following template.
Abstract must be at most four pages long and can include one/two figures and one/two tables.
Abstracts must be submitted via the ICGG16 website only.
All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.
All submitted abstracts will be forwarded to the Scientific Topics Committee for review. Notifications regarding status will be sent once the review process is complete.

Poster boards
The Poster’s authors are invited to introduce their posters within a 5 minutes Power Point presentation before the poster session. Poster boards are in portrait format, and posters should not be larger than A0 size ( 841 mm x 1 189 mm) vertical. All the material necessary for attaching the poster to the poster board is available at the facility desk in the information point.
